About Us

Welcome to CZ Roofing, where experience meets passion! Founded by longtime Granbury, Texas resident Brian Chism and myself, Wendy Zmolik-Chism, CZ Roofing represents a new chapter in our lives and a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship. After moving to Rockwall in 2017, Brian, who had accumulated two decades of experience with major roofing companies, and I decided to leverage his extensive background in roofing, construction, welding, and building metal structures to start our own venture. Thus, on January 1, 2023, CZ Roofing was born, combining our last names—Chism and Zmolik—to symbolize our partnership.

Our first year exceeded all expectations. We undertook significant projects including two major restaurant builds—30 Brunch House 1 in Rockwall and 30 Brunch House 2 in Rowlett—and we’re currently expanding with more to come. Besides these commercial successes, we’ve completed over 46 roofing projects, largely driven by repeat customers and referrals, a testament to Brian’s reputable work over the years.

Our faith plays a pivotal role in our lives; we believe that our success is guided by divine grace, and we give all glory to God.

Beyond roofing, our roots run deep in the community. I bring 15 years of experience from a family-owned plumbing business and a decade in medical management. Together, we enjoy a rich family life with my son Justin, daughter-in-law Jordyn, their son Roman, Brian’s daughter Kaci, son-in-law Wes, their son Laken, and Brian’s son Cole, Cole’s wife Shaylea, and their daughters Adilynn and Kaylor.

As a family, we cherish our time together, whether it’s camping, cheering at the grandkids’ sports events, or enjoying our hobbies—Brian is an avid hunter, and I’ve recently discovered a passion for gardening.
